Could I please bring the following to your attention?

Industrial Action by Unison  (July 16th and 17th)

We have been informed that our kitchen staff will not be in school if the strike goes ahead next week.   This means that, on both day, no school meals will be available from the canteen.   School will be open as normal and all pupils should bring a packed lunch which they should eat in their form rooms.   Specialist Science & Technology rooms will be closed and pupils should go to the dining hall to eat.   If the action is not going ahead we will put a message on the website nearer the time.

July 18th

     School will end at 12.30 p.m. and pupils will be dismissed from the sports hall.

SATs

It is very unlikely that we shall be able to report pupils’ results to parents this term since we have no idea when we shall receive them.   We will, however, send parents a summary of all core subject teacher assessments, as well as the test and teacher assessment levels in English, Mathematics and Science, as soon as we can in September.

I do apologise for the inconvenience caused by any of the above;  I am sure you appreciate that most of it is completely beyond my control.
