The Governors have decided that, on the grounds of personal safety, all pupils are to stay on the school site during lunch time; going home or into Sedgley to purchase or eat food are not allowed.
We have a cafeteria system which includes a healthy eating food bar. All food, hot and cold, is priced individually and pupils pay when they take their meal. Recently, the cafeteria has been awarded the ’Dudley Food for Health’ Gold Award.
Pupils are also allowed to bring sandwiches and eat in a classroom allocated to them. They are expected to respect school property and to leave rooms clean, tidy and free of litter. During the cold winter months pupils are allowed to stay inside but In the warmer spring and autumn days and the summer they are expected to get some fresh air for twenty minutes.
