UNIFORM: 2008/09

A high standard of uniform at all times is very important at Dormston School. From September 2008 the ‘old style’ uniform will be obsolete and all students (Year 7-11) will  be expected to wear the new style uniform.

We enclose a new uniform list for your attention. Could we ask parents to be very careful when purchasing the ‘grey’ items:  the shade of grey required is called ‘Trutex grey’; much lighter shades are unacceptable.

Also we have never allowed children to wear leisure style shoes please such as ‘K Swiss’ or ‘Nike’ and would be very grateful if parents would purchase a sturdy black pair of school shoes as the uniform list indicates.

We are delighted to be launching a new summer uniform option that will be available from A.Oakes or Buxton and Bonnett. This will consist of a dark purple short-sleeved polo shirt with the school logo on.

In the summer term only students will have the choice of wearing their blazer, tie and shirt, or the new style polo. A combination of both styles is not acceptable.

Students must also bring their navy polo shirt at all times for PE.
Polo shirts will be in store shortly after the Easter break.
